The Murder of Tasneem Ali (2013)
'The Murder of Tasneem Ali' is a short film about a young Muslim girl in a new country where she is constantly being harassed for following her religion. It deals with the level of harassment and physical abuse a person can handle and the limits a person can be pushed too.
Shot in black and white with no dialogues, is a visual story that deals with very grey concerns. While we see the emotional imbalance of the victim, we also see how far the person harassing someone is willing to go to or whether they have a conscience or not.
